Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance is the ability to see images, or ‘visions,’ in your mind’s eye. They may be black and white or full color, life-like or cartoonish. Sometimes clairvoyant images are so vivid that they can be overwhelming, especially if you’re not used to them. For this reason, many clairvoyants are hesitant to use their gift.
Those who are voyance love creative hobbies, like art or photography. This is because clairvoyance is strongly tied to the visual senses. People who are clairvoyant also tend to be highly sensitive to the energy around them, including the feelings and emotions of others. This is a form of empathy known as empathic ability.
The Science Behind Clairvoyance: Exploring Psychic Phenomena
The word clairvoyance is derived from the French words clair, meaning “clear,” and voir, meaning “to see.” It is a type of extrasensory perception (ESP). People who are clairvoyant often claim to know things that cannot be proven empirically, such as predicting the order of cards in a shuffled deck or seeing the spirits of deceased persons who are said to inhabit the world of the living.
In parapsychology, clairvoyance is generally regarded as the most reliable psychic ability, with a higher accuracy rate than, for example, remote viewing. However, despite repeated attempts in controlled experiments, no one has yet produced evidence that clairvoyance works as described.
